Easytogrowbulbs.com has been successfully up and running with a new e-commerce storefront provider since July of 2004. The site's main product line is flower bulbs.
Owner James G. Threadgill took advantage of both professional e-commerce design services and search engine optimization in order to create a new design and marketing solution for the site. Marketing the site can be complex because it involves determining search behavior for seasonal products, but the SEO team worked closely with Threadgill to ensure long term success. Search engine optimization work was completed in mid February of 2005.
Threadgill has had success utilizing web analytics software to identify the demographics of the site’s client base, what they are browsing for and how long they stay on the site.
Research paid off
After they made the decision to add an e-commerce component to their overall success strategy, they began their research.
“We did an in-depth review of the various platforms that would allow us to manage our website,” said Threadgill.
